Program Requirements

Students will learn professional, technical, and creative practices that are central to the contemporary video game industry and will be prepared to engage critically with various aspects of video game development and extend the skills learned to other media production areas.

The minor is open to all students, but especially compliments majors in Art, Art History & Design, Film Studies & Production, Journalism & Media Studies, or Music Technology. 

Requirements for the liberal arts minor in Video Game Studies
