Program Requirements
Requirements for the liberal arts minor in Speech Pathology
To earn a minor in Speech Language Pathology, students must complete a minimum of 24 credits including:
course Head and Neck Anatomy (4)
course Language and the Brain (4)
course Introduction to Linguistics (4)
course Phonetic Theory (4)
course Language Acquisition (4)
course Language Related Disorders (4)
*Credit toward the minor will only be allowed for courses completed with a grade of C or higher.
Additional Information
At least 12 of these credits must be taken at Oakland University. Up to 12 credits are allowed to overlap with the requirements for the Linguistics BA.
