Requirements for the Certificate in Chinese Foundations
A foundations certificate will focus on the target culture, and communication of everyday needs and information.
Students qualify for a Certificate in Chinese Foundations by completing 12 credits at the 1000-2000 level in Chinese (CHE).
Note
Students interested in this certificate should contact an Adviser in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. Credits earned for a language certificate may be applied, as appropriate, to a major or minor in the same language.
