Requirements for the liberal arts minor in Chinese

20 credits in Chinese (CHE) at the 2000 level and above.

Required Courses

• course Second Year Chinese I (4)*

• course Second Year Chinese II (4)*

• course Chinese Conversation (2) 

• course Chinese Composition (2) 

• course Advanced Chinese Conversation and Reading (4) 

*Students who place out of course or course can complete the overall 20 credit requirement with any of the Elective Course options listed below.”

Note

At least 12 credits of those required for the minor in any of the languages must be taken at Oakland University.  course Independent Translation Project does not apply toward the minor.
