Playwriting

Certificate in Playwriting - 16 credit minimum

Offered by the Department of Theatre, this certificate program is designed for students who have a specific interest in writing for the stage.

Requirements for the Certificate in Playwriting

Students qualify for a Certificate in Playwriting by completing 16 credits from the courses listed below.
Students who are completing a BA in Theatre, may apply course and/or course to the certificate.

Required Courses

The following 16 credits are required in order to complete the Certificate in Playwriting:

• course Intro to Screen/TV Writing (4)

• course Dramaturgy (3)

• course Playwriting (4)

• course Advanced Playwriting (4)
