Course Description

Course addresses the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals. Associations with dietary requirements and disease processes, nutrient interactions, nutrient stability and bioavailability, and food sources will be covered.Prerequisite(s): CHM 1450 and (BIO 2006 or BIO 2600 or BIO 3620) and (CDS 4250 or BIO 3232) and CHM 2340
