Introduction to Cooking and Culinary Science

Course Description

This class applies the chemistry of food and cooking and how chemical properties of food affect taste, nutrition, and appearance. Students will demonstrate cooking and other food preparation methods. This laboratory course is complemented by the lecture, NTR 2700. Prerequisite (or co-requisite): NTR 2700.
