Contemporary World Business

This course introduces students to the global business environment. It focuses on how differences in economic systems, national culture, socio-demographics, and political orientations affect business operations. It also provides an introduction to key business activities. Satisfies the university general education requirement in the global perspective knowledge exploration area. Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in general education. Prerequisite(s): completion of the university writing foundation requirement. Course is only recommended for non-SBA majors or business students who have not achieved major standing.
