Automotive Driveline Dynamics

Introduction to powertrain and driveline systems dynamics with emphasis on vehicle drive-quality and design of vibration control mechanisms that enhance fundamental drive characteristics in conventional and electrified vehicles. Subjective and objective characteristics are considered related to low-frequency vehicle acceleration performance, including vehicle jerk, surge and powertrain modes, and torsional vibration.
