Hospital Safety and Health

Course Description

Concentrates on the principles and practices of safety in the hospital setting by focusing on exposures including tuberculosis, needle-sticks, anesthesia gases, latex allergies, radiation, medical waste, and the controls necessary to prevent injury both to the health care employee and the patient. Prerequisite(s): HS 2000 and PH 3000
