Course Description

Reviews common safety practices to be used throughout the health care arena (covering both employee and patient safety) including incident reporting, infection control, lifting techniques, error prevention, reporting systems, workforce issues, accountability, laws and regulations and the promotion and implementation of safety programs and practices. Prerequisite(s): HS 2000 and PH 3000
