Course Description

Explores microeconomic theory and its application to managerial decision making. Examines consumer behavior, cost and output estimation, optimization, pricing issues in competitive and non-competitive markets, decision making under uncertainty and capital budgeting. Generally offered every semester.General Education Requirement(s): Satisfies the university general education requirements in the knowledge applications integration area except for economics majors. Prerequisite for knowledge applications: completion of the general education requirement in the social science knowledge exploration and the formal reasoning knowledge foundation areas.Prerequisite(s): ECN 2010 and (ECN 2000 or ECN 2020) with a minimum grade of (C) in each course
