Battery Management Systems
Course Description
Sensing and measurement of cell/module voltages, currents, and temperatures. Battery protection systems and their control. Equivalent circuit model. Estimation of cell/module state of charge, state of health, and state of life. Cell balancing control. Computation of power limits and real-time power control. Cross-listed with ECE 5640. Students cannot receive credit for both courses.Additional Requirement(s): Major StandingPrerequisite(s): ECE 3100 and ECE 3204
