Culturally Responsive Education: The Role of Family, Culture & Community

Course Description

This course focuses on the multiple influences of family, community and schools on development and learning. Individual and cultural variations, family and community characteristics, the influence and impact of technology and the media on developing identity. Biases and attitudes will be discussed.Prerequisite(s): EC 3340
