Building Children's Resilience: From Trauma Informed to Trauma-sensitive Approaches to ECE
Course Description
This course examines how early adversities and traumas in children's lives can have lasting effects on children's well-being, including their ability to learn, self-regulate, and relate with others. Students will learn how this knowledge can be transformed into trauma-sensitive practices to support children and families.Prerequisite(s): EC 3335
