Course Description

Introduction to both theoretical and hands-on aspects of vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and system hardening. Topics include basics of confidentiality, integrity and authentication; footprinting, scanning, assessment and validations of systems and application vulnerabilities; system remediation, implementation of security policies using host and network level firewalls and intrusion detection and prevention system.
