Course Description

This course introduces the dynamic programming language Ruby -- focusing on language fundamentals, debugging and external language binding techniques, and extremely popular web development framework Ruby on the Rail (ROR). The basic ROR topics include discussion of convention over configuration as used by ROR and RESTful web development with practical exercises.Prerequisite(s): EGR 1400 or CSI 1300 or CSI 1320 or CSI 1420 or CSI 2300
