Course Description
Examination of the communicative processes by which movements for social change influence institutions and agents. Emphasis on persuasive strategies for mobilization, maintenance and social transformation including narrative, argument, symbolism and music, and the role of leadership. Employs case studies to consider past and contemporary efforts at social change.General Education Requirement(s): Satisfies the university general education requirement in the western civilization knowledge exploration area.
