Environmental Chemistry

Course Description

Concepts from atmospheric and aquatic chemistry as it is applied to the environment such as photochemistry, global warming, ozone depletion, carbon cycle, equilibrium principles, acids and bases, complexation and dissolution, and electron transfer processes. Current topics in environmental issues and analytical methods will be discussed. *Approved Slash Course. Credit can only be earned for CHM 4100 or CHM 5100.
