Course Title

Urinalysis and Body Fluids

Course Description

This course will cover theoretical and practical aspects of physical, chemical, and microscopic analysis of urine, feces, cerebrospinal fluid, serous fluids, synovial fluid, seminal fluid, and amniotic fluid. Related clinical conditions and correlation of results with normal and abnormal physiology will also be discussed. Course Prerequisite: CDS 2250 (B-) and CDS 4270 (C). Additional Requirements: MLS major standing required.
