Lake Ecology
Course Description
Lake ecology will examine the physical, chemical, and biological dynamics of lakes. The class will focus on interactions between abiotic and biotic factors including nutrient cycling, nutrient controls on primary production, and producer-consumer interactions through lectures, in class experiments, and examining national lake databases. Meets with BIO 5332. Credit may not be granted for both BIO 4332 and BIO 5332.Prerequisite(s): BIO 1300, CHM 1440, CHM 1450 with a grade of C or higher or permission from the instructor
