Course Description
Ocular development, visual transduction, retinal circuitry, brain pathways, color vision, physiological optics, eye diseases and treatments, ophthalmic imaging, gene therapy, human genomics. Authentic assessment employed to develop scientific skills: communication, evaluation of research papers, exploring visual impairment in different societies.Prerequisite(s): BIO 2600 or BIO 3620 with a grade of (C) or higher
