Vertebrate Zoology

Course Description

Introduction to evolution, biology and classification of vertebrates including early chordates, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. Emphasis on a comparative approach to examining the anatomy, physiology, evolution, ecology, behavior and natural history aspects of vertebrates. Lecture focuses on a comparative analysis of all vertebrate groups. Prerequisite(s): BIO 1200, BIO 1201, BIO 1300, each with a grade of C or higher Corequisite(s): BIO 3321
