Introduction to Mathematical Statistics I

Course Description

Distribution of random variables, conditional probability and stochastic independence, special distributions, functions of random variables. Required background includes courses in linear algebra, multivariable calculus, and introductory statistics. STA 5113 meets with an undergraduate course, STA 4113. Student may not receive credit for both courses.Prerequisite(s): STA 2226, MTH 2554, MTH 2775 with grades of (C) or higher
