Spanish for Technical Professions
Course Description
Prepares students to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking individuals helping them familiarize themselves with Spanish technical terminology, as well as developing appropriate linguistic skills to engage in common engineering tasks such as technical descriptions, project management assessments, goal negotiations, and professional presentations. The course is designed to help students achieve an intermediate mid-level in Spanish to execute these tasks efficiently. Students can choose between SPN 3170, SPN 3190, and SPN 3200 to fulfill the course requirements for the Spanish Major or Minor. All three courses are writing and conversation courses applied to different areas.
