Introduction to Sociology through Health and Medicine
Course Description
Introduction to the basic concepts of sociology with an emphasis on application in the health sciences. Particular attention is given to culture, socialization and self-development, social class, and major social institutions. Equivalent to SOC 1000. Offered fall and winter semesters.General Education Requirement(s):Â Satisfies the university general education requirement in the social science knowledge exploration area. Satisfies the university general education requirement in U.S. diversity.
