Beginning Literacy
Course Description
This course includes development and assessment/instructional methods for phonic knowledge, word recognition and meaning strategies, fluency, orthographic knowledge, composition that includes multiple modes of meaning representation, oral language, and comprehension. Digital texts and tools, culturally sustaining pedagogies, social justice topics, critical lens, and partnering with families will be used.Prerequisite(s): RDG 3200
