Politics Through Literature

Use of literary works (novels, short stories, plays, essays) to examine a range of social and political systems in specific settings. Analysis of how political and cultural backgrounds of various authors have been conveyed in their writings. Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in the major. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement.Prerequisite(s): WRT 1060 or equivalent with a grade of (C) or higher
