International Politics: Theory and Practice

Course Description

Examination of the central theoretical and conceptual approaches to the study of international politics, and a focused exploration of how those contending approaches account for specific international phenomena such as war and peace, economic interaction, and the emergence of international organizations and global governance. Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in the major. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement. Prerequisite(s): PS 1600 and WRT 1060 or equivalent with a grade of (C) or higher
