Western Political Thought I

Course Description

Analyzes the writings of Western political theorists from 600 B.C. to 1500 A.D.; systematically examines the political, legal, economic, social, cultural and religious elements that influenced the ideas and policies postulated; and scrutinizes the assumptions behind deeply rooted modes of thought that continue to affect people's lives. Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in the major. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement.Prerequisite(s): WRT 1060 or equivalent with a grade of (C) or higher
