Community Nutrition Practicum

In this course, students will gain hands-on experience in community nutrition program planning, implementation, and evaluation, under the supervision and guidance of community-based partners. Students will gain an understanding of utilizing community nutrition assessment information to plan theoretically-based community nutrition interventions. Students will explore evaluation methods appropriate in various settings. Prerequisite(s): HS 3500 (C), NTR 3120 (C), NTR 3140 (C), NTR 4200 (C) and senior standing.
