Course Description

This course introduces healthcare systems, emphasizing the role nutrition and other professionals play in clinical, food service, or management positions within a variety of healthcare settings. The organizational structure of healthcare systems, interprofessional healthcare teams, and policies are covered as are management and leadership principles and theories.Prerequisite(s): (NTR 2500 or HS 2000) and (PH 3000 or NTR 3120)
