Course Description

Explores the history of 20th-century Detroit from the perspectives of its workers and unions. Key themes include immigration and ethnic diversity, the rise of mass production, the union movement, race relations, gender and the labor force, the postwar boom, and de-industrialization.Prerequisite(s): WRT 1060 or equivalent with a grade of (C) or higher.
