Course Description
This course provides in-depth study of various Integrative CAM healing modalities frequently used in Western societies today. Provides history, evolution, trends and future expectations of continued use in integrative medicine. Critical examination of the techniques used, possible mechanisms, evidence for safety and efficacy, and professional training/credentialing. Provides foundation for assessment of possible application of these approaches for various disease processes in integrative health care. Prerequisite(s): HS 3410 with a minimum grade of D.
