Course Description
This course introduces students to the principles and practice of Lifestyle Medicine (LM), an evidence-based approach to preventing, treating, and reversing chronic disease through lifestyle behaviors. The course emphasizes the six pillars of LM—nutrition, physical activity, stress management, sleep, social connection, and avoidance of risky substances—and integrates behavior change science, interprofessional collaboration, and equity in health care delivery.Prerequisite(s): HS 2000 and HS 3250 or PSY 2500
