Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Restructuring

Course Description

Examines important issues in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and corporate bankruptcy, including choices when faced with restructuring decisions. Addresses investment banking techniques used to enhance the firm’s value, and methods of reorganizing a firm outside of bankruptcy. Prerequisite(s): FIN 3600, FIN 3680 and FIN 3720 with a minimum grade of (C) and major standing.
