Course Title

Spinal Orthotics

Course Description

In this classroom and lab- based course, the student will be exposed to the pathologies affecting the axial skeleton - (i.e. the skull, the spinal column and the pelvis). Pathologies will be discussed in view of their immediate impact, treatment and the progression of the pathology. The students will learn fitting protocols, adjustment techniques and alignment with identified patient outcomes. Prerequisite(s): EXS 3510 and EXS 3520, or BE 4510; These courses may be taken concurrently.
