Course Description
Develops philosophies, rationale, high leverage practices, and research-based methods for teaching elementary science PK-6. Explores knowledge and skills for planning equitable science instruction, using instructional models, integrating the curriculum, evaluating and using current instructional materials and evaluating outcomes. Includes field assignments to be completed in an elementary classroom setting. Prerequisites: EED 2400 and EED 3600.
