Teaching and Learning for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

This course will help students understand that educators must enact principles of social justice in their classrooms, schools, and communities by focusing on the intellectual, social and emotional development of all students, while supporting human rights for all, teaching for equity, and collaborating with professionals, students, families, and the community. Satisfies the university general education requirement in U.S. Diversity. Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in the major. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement.Prerequisite(s): EED 2000
