Course Description
Examines the main theories of economic development applied to developing countries. Topics include decision-making at the individual and macro-levels; trade strategies; fiscal, monetary and exchange policies in promoting economic development; and the role of less developed countries in the global economy.General Education Requirement(s): Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in general education. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement. Satisfies the university general education requirement in the global perspective knowledge exploration area.Prerequisite(s): ECN 1500 or ECN 2010 with a minimum grade of (C)
