Senior Design

Course Description

Capstone design projects selected from a wide variety of areas related to electrical and computer engineering. Develops system approach to design: preparation of specifications, scheduling, modeling, simulations, and technological, financial and environmental aspects. Multi-disciplinary teamwork is emphasized. Prototyping, testing and completion of the project are required. Presentation of results required. Satisfies the university general education requirement for a capstone experience. Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in the major. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement. Prerequisite(s): (ECE 3100 or ECE 3204) and (ECE 3540 or ECE 3600 or ECE 3720) and any 4000 level ECE course.
