Human Robot Interaction

Course Description

HRI covers design and evaluation of robots interacting with humans. The topics include sensing, autonomy, AI, interaction design, experimental design, and human factors applied to robotics. Students will create effective HRI for all levels of autonomy. HRI applications covered include industrial, service, defense, space, therapy, education, and entertainment, etc. Crosslisted with ECE 5551.Additional Requirement(s): Major Standing.Prerequisite(s): ECE 3100 or ECE 3204
