Course Description

This course introduces the fundamental concepts of NoSQL databases required to effectively manage the data storage and query requirements of modern-day applications in a scalable manner. The course covers the architecture, implementation, and use cases of four major NoSQL database categories: document, key-value stores, column-oriented, and graph. Crosslisted with CSI 5450. Credit will not be provided for both CSI 4450 and CSI 5450.Additional Requirement(s): Major standing
