Introduction to C Programming and Unix

Course Description

Topics include binary numbers and C programming concepts such as data types, bitwise operations, control flow, arrays, pointers, structures, and input/output. Basic Unix commands and shell programming are covered, as well as Unix utilities for developing and debugging C programs. With laboratory. Students can receive credits for only one of CSI 1300, CSI 1320, CSI 1420, or EGR 1400. Additionally, credit can be received for either CSI 1420 or CSI 2360, but not both. Prerequisite(s): MTH 0662
