Course Title

Introduction to Python Programming and Unix

Course Description

Algorithmic programming using Python. Topics include data storage and manipulation, binary numbers, bitwise operations, control structures, and functions. Introduction to fundamental data structures and script programming. Basic Unix commands and Unix utilities will be covered. With laboratory. Students can receive credit for only one of CSI 1300, CSI 1320, CSI 1420, or EGR 1400. Intended for Information Technology majors and minors. (Formerly CSI 1310).Prerequisite(s): MTH 0662
