Overview of process, creation, selection, implementation, and evaluation of policy. Focuses on the grounding of policy in criminological theory and the emergence of evidence-based research on gun control, sex offenders, drug use/prevention, mass incarceration, community based-corrections and community policing.Prerequisite(s): CRJ 2100
