Clinical Hemostasis

Course Description

An in-depth study of the human hemostatic system, including the role of the vasculature, platelets and plasma proteins. Hemorrhagic and thrombotic disorders of hemostasis, laboratory techniques, and correlation of laboratory results with normal and abnormal physiology will also be discussed. Laboratory component included. Course Prerequisite:  CDS 2250 (B-) and CDS 4100 (C) and CDS 4110 (C). Additional Requirements: MLS major standing required.
