Course Description

Endocrine systems, mechanisms of hormone action, interactions among hormones, the roles of hormones in growth, differentiation, and reproduction; tumor suppressor genes and oncogenes. Emphasis will be placed on human endocrine disorders and their clinical significance.Prerequisite(s): BIO 2600 or BIO 3620 with a grade of (C) or higher.
