Course Description
A continuation of BIO 3232 using the same textbook. Topics include photosynthesis, metabolism of lipids and nitrogen-containing compounds, biochemical mechanisms of hormone action, integration and control of cell metabolism, biochemistry of nucleic acids, and mechanisms of gene transcription and protein synthesis. Prerequisite(s): BIO 3232 or CHM 4254 or BCM 4254 with a grade of (C) or higher.
