Course Description

Science-intensive study of the structure, function, and isolation of biomolecules and subcellular components; enzyme catalysis and regulation; principles of metabolism, generation of metabolic energy by glycolysis, Krebs' cycle and oxidative phosphorylation; and molecular approaches in biological research. Prerequisite(s): BIO 1200 and CHM 2340, each with a grade of (C) or higher.
